Svara is a product and trading name of ZenMode Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (Company No. 16925050), registered office at 41 Elm Park, Stanmore, Middlesex, HA7 4AU. This policy outlines the acceptable use of the Svara API ("Service").
1. General Principles
You agree to use the Service responsibly, lawfully, and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of others or restrict their use of the Service. You must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, as well as the terms of service of any third-party platform you interact with through Svara (including LinkedIn, Telegram, and WhatsApp).
2. Prohibited Uses
You may not use the Service to:
- Send unsolicited bulk messages (spam) in violation of applicable anti-spam laws, including CAN-SPAM, GDPR, and PECR
- Harass, threaten, defame, or abuse any individual or group
- Impersonate another person or entity without their explicit consent
- Distribute malware, phishing links, or fraudulent content
- Engage in deceptive practices, including misleading recipients about the nature or origin of a voice message
- Send content that is illegal, obscene, or promotes violence
- Circumvent rate limits, usage quotas, or other technical restrictions through any means
- Access or attempt to access accounts, data, or systems that you are not authorized to use
- Resell, sublicense, or redistribute access to the Service without our prior written consent
- Use the Service in a way that could damage, disable, or impair the Service or interfere with other users
3. Platform Compliance
You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the Service complies with the terms of service of each target platform. This includes but is not limited to:
- LinkedIn: LinkedIn's User Agreement and Professional Community Policies
- Telegram: Telegram's Terms of Service and Bot API Terms
- WhatsApp: WhatsApp Business Policy and Commerce Policy
4. Credential Responsibility
When you provide platform credentials (session cookies, bot tokens, etc.) to the Service, you represent and warrant that:
- You have the right and authority to use those credentials
- The credentials belong to you or you have been granted explicit permission to use them
- Your use of the credentials does not violate any applicable law or platform policy
5. Volume and Rate Limits
You must respect the rate limits and usage quotas associated with your plan. Automated systems that send voice notes must implement reasonable rate limiting and back-off behaviour. Excessive or abusive request patterns may result in temporary or permanent suspension.
6. Content Standards
All voice notes sent through the Service must comply with applicable content standards. You are solely responsible for the content of voice notes you send. We do not pre-screen content but reserve the right to investigate and take action if we receive reports of misuse.
7. Enforcement
We reserve the right to investigate suspected violations of this policy and to take any action we deem appropriate, including:
- Issuing warnings
- Temporarily suspending API access
- Permanently terminating your account
- Reporting illegal activity to law enforcement
We may take enforcement action without prior notice if we reasonably believe that immediate action is necessary to protect the Service, our users, or third parties.
8. Reporting Violations
If you believe someone is using the Service in violation of this policy, please report it to hello@svarapi.io.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be communicated via email to registered users and posted on this page.
