Svara is a product and trading name of ZenMode Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (Company No. 16925050), registered office at 41 Elm Park, Stanmore, Middlesex, HA7 4AU. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your data when you use the Svara API.

Data We Collect

Account Data

When you create a Svara account, we collect your email address, name, and billing information. This data is used to manage your account, process payments, and communicate service updates.

API Usage Data

We log API requests for usage tracking, rate limiting, and debugging. Logs include timestamps, endpoint called, platform target, response status, and delivery confirmation. We do not log the text content of your messages or the generated audio.

Audio Files

Audio files generated by the Svara API are processed in memory and deleted within 60 seconds of generation. We do not retain generated audio files. Audio is created, encoded to the target platform's format, delivered, and immediately purged.

Platform Credentials

When you provide platform credentials (such as LinkedIn session cookies or Telegram bot tokens), these credentials are passed through to the target platform and never stored. Credentials exist in memory only for the duration of the API request and are discarded immediately after delivery.

To process payments and manage subscriptions
To track usage against your plan limits
To monitor service health and debug issues
To communicate service updates and security notices

Data Sharing

We do not sell your data. We share data only with:

Payment processors (Stripe) for billing
Infrastructure providers for hosting and delivery
Target platforms (LinkedIn, Telegram, WhatsApp) as required to deliver voice notes on your behalf

Data Retention

Account data: Retained while your account is active, deleted within 30 days of account closure
API usage logs: Retained for 90 days
Audio files: Deleted within 60 seconds of generation
Platform credentials: Never stored — in-memory only during request processing

Your Rights (GDPR)

As a UK-based company, we comply with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. You have the right to:

Access your personal data
Correct inaccurate data
Delete your account and associated data
Export your data in a portable format
Object to processing
Withdraw consent at any time

Security

All API traffic is encrypted via HTTPS with TLS 1.3. API keys are hashed at rest. See our Security page for full details.

Cookies

The Svara website uses essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics.

We may update this policy from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated via email to registered users.
